Register for Summit XIII
National speakers, State Leaders and Policy Analysts to Discuss Cancer Control
The Arkansas Cancer Summit is an annual event hosted by the Arkansas Cancer Coalition (ACC) to showcase progress ACC partners have made toward meeting the goals and objectives of the state’s cancer plan. The forum provides an opportunity for Coalition members and friends to network, share information and build new skills.
Summit XIII is scheduled for March 12 – 13, 2012 at the Wyndham Riverfront in North Little Rock, Ark. A reception will be held on March 12 from 5 – 7 p.m. for partners to award outstanding achievements. The conference will take place the following day on March 13, with registration beginning at 7 a.m. and the last session scheduled for 4 p.m.
Summit XIII will focus on “The Impact of Health Policy and Cancer Control.” Below is a preview of the conference content and confirmed speakers:

Public policy drives the cancer control agenda. Legislation and appropriations have significant influence on future cancer registry data. ACC calls all partners and invites guests to our annual cancer summit for a forum on making health and cancer control a priority for the state of Arkansas.
Registration
Partners and guests can register for summit at http://www.arcancercoalition.org/conferences. Summit registration includes the reception on March 12. However, if you plan on attending the reception only, please register for that event separately. Early registration, ending January 20, costs $100. Standard registration after this date is $125 and on-site registration will be $150. Included in registration are collaterals from ACC partners as well as all meals and snacks prepared by Wyndham Riverfront.
Scholarships Available
A limited amount of scholarship money is available to offset Summit XIII costs. Applicants will be considered on a first come, first serve basis. Scholarships may be used toward the registration fee ($125), mileage (.42 per mile for individuals who have traveled over 50 miles to Little Rock) and lodging ($89.95 for one night/one person at Wyndham Riverfront Hotel.). Previous scholarship recipients are asked not to apply.

Exhibitor Opportunities
Summit XIII will offer an excellent opportunity for partners to display services and/or products to the membership. Partners can reserve an exhibitor booth that includes two complimentary Summit XIII registrations. Exhibitor booths will be accessible to attendees from 8 am to 5 pm on Tuesday, March 13.
