Summit Planning Committee

The Arkansas Cancer Summit is coordinated by the Summit Planning Committee, which is made up of staff and members of the Arkansas Cancer Coalition. Anyone can be a member of the Planning Committee. Most of the committee members will chair a sub-committee and assist with recruiting people to help with them with their duties. Summit incorporates speakers, exhibitors, and other activities to bring the professional community together to share ideas and educate the public on the work and progress in the cancer continuum. The Summit Planning Committee meets monthly to plan and prepare for the annual event. Within two months of the event, the committee will meet more frequently. Sub-Committee chairs are encouraged to meet with their individual committees, as often as they would like outside of the general planning meetings to accomplish separate goals and bring news back to the larger group.
